Fruiting
Fruiting container plants offer the best of both worlds: ornamental, attractive plants AND sweet edible fruits. Our fruit plants for containers include dwarf fruit trees such as banana and fig trees as well as blueberry bushes. Their compact size and habit make them ideal for container gardening—and they're sure to enhance the sunny patio or deck. When growing fruit bushes and trees in containers, make sure you start with a container that is large enough to accommodate the plant and also offers good drainage. Next, consider the plant's hardiness zone. Some fruiting plants, like figs and bananas, are not cold hardy and must be brought indoors and grown as houseplants when the weather cools.
