Climbing roses are some of the most impressive rose plants available. Many of them can grow 10-12 ft. tall—and they make quite a statement when trained to climb a trellis or arch or when planted as a backdrop to perennial or annual flower beds. Like other rose varieties, climbing roses feature elegant, colorful, and often fragrant flowers, throughout the summer months. Because they can grow quite tall with a 5-6 ft. spread, leave plenty of room to accommodate their growth. Like other rose plants, climbing roses perform best in full sun, in well-drained soil and with good air circulation. They're available in an array of flower colors.
